Looking For A Impressive Movie? Check Out These Impressive Movie Commentary

By Tamika Buchanan

You get home and you are in the frame of mind to watch a funny comedy and you find that they sent the latest horror flick instead. And some of the mail-in subscriptions don't offer the newest releases until later so you end up having to visit the dvd/store anyway and you're back where you started because of course the movie is not in stock and you have to wait again.

Barnyard - Animated zaniness set on a farm where, after sundown, the animals turn the barn into a noisy nightclub. James is Otis, a young cow who is very grown-up, much to the chagrin of his dad, Ben Elliott, who keeps watch for preying coyotes when the others party. Dom Irrera stands out as Duke the Dog. Cast includes Courtney Cox, Sam Elliott, Danny Glover, Wanda Sykes, Andie MacDowell, David Koechner, and Laraine Newman. (90 minutes, 2006)

High Crimes - Lawyer Claire Kubik has just been informed that her spouse is not who she thinks he is. Tom Kubik is really Ron Chapman, and he is on trial in the military justice system for the killing of villagers in Latin America. Claire takes on the case but just what will she find out, as the facts are unraveled?

The Horse Whisperer - After her daughter is critically hurt in a horse riding accident, her wealthy mother takes the horse to a famous horse whisperer in Montana. A romance between the two follows.

Dracula - Gloomy retelling of the Bram Stoker classic, with Langella's esteemed Broadway portrayal lost among trendy terror gimmicks and ill-imagined changes in the original tale. The movie was filmed in England. Cast includes Frank Langella, Laurence Olivier, Donald Pleasence, Kate Nelligan, Trevor Eve, Janine Duvitski, and Tony Haygarth. (109 minutes,'79)

Solar Crisis: Futuristic sci-fi thriller with Matheson leading a save the Earth mission to the sun to stop a solar flash from annihilating the world. Fine visual effects and thrilling story in space harmed by world pranks of poor boy Boyle who ridiculously wants to challenge the mission. Cast includes Tim Matheson, Charlton Heston, Peter Boyle, and Annabel Schofield. (112 minutes,'90)

As a result we tried a mail subscription. It sounded like it might work well. Just fill up your queue and pick up your movies at the mailbox. The only problem was that if the first movie that you wanted wasn't available then they would mail the second movie or the third movie on your list in its place. - 18780
