Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: A kid's musical in regards to a flying automobile is one wacky journey, with entirely forgettable score and some of the shoddiest visual effects ever. Another 48 Hours: The team from 48 Hours is back in action. Ex con Reggie Hammond, now freed from prison, is coerced by Detective Jack Gates to help him with another problem. Gates has been hunting an elusive powerful drug dealer. He needs Reggie's help to catch this guy.
Talladega Nights: The Battle o Ricky Bobby: This is a crazy comedy with NASCAR racing as its platform. Ricky Bobby has become one of the best drivers in NASCAR. When an accident puts him out of action, he loses his nerve for racing. With nothing but racing in his life, Ricky Bobby must find a way to overcome his fear, and return to his championship form.
Unbreakable: Elijah Price has lived his whole life with a horrible bone condition. His bones are so weak that they shatter with the slightest jolt. From his reading of comics, he is convinced that there is an opposite of him living in the world. The story is of his search to find this "unbreakable" man.
Blind Date: Tiresome retread of all-too familiar farcical material by Blake Edwards. Yuppie Willis takes Basinger out on a pre arranged blind date, urged that she shouldn't have alcohol and instantly gives her champagne. This film is hilarious. This was Willis' featuring debut; guitarist Stanley Jordan makes a lyrical appearance. Cast includes Kim Basinger, Bruce Willis, John Larroquette, William Daniels, and Graham Stark. (93 minutes, 1987)
