How To Download Movies Online

By Alexander Harvey

Downloading movies is competing neck and neck with music downloads, and in recent years, has found itself pulling ahead. The truth of the matter is that people love watching movies and television shows. If they don't have the money, or the time, to buy a movie ticket or to get a piece of equipment that rewinds their television programs for them, then the next best thing is to turn to their fall back plan which concentrates on learning how to download movies.

The ease and speed by which video is available is probably the cause of this increased interest. No matter whether that's the case or not if someone can't afford a machine to rewind or record their favorite television show, or the money or time to head out to the nearest movie theater, then the next obvious choice is to find what we want off of the internet.

The trick is learning how to get it from there, which is the internet, to your computer where you're able to have access to it whenever and for however long you want. There are many video files out there, Divx, Realplayer, BS player files, etc. There are an equal amount of ways in order to download these video types. Torrents, Graboid, Netflix, Hulu downloader, rar files, HJ split files, Dvd rips, etc, etc, etc. It's hard to pick which process is best for you and your computer, not to mention which process is legal.

What you have to watch out for is copyright infringements. You see those on bootlegged videos or videos in which you have to access through any sort of torrent file or software. There are a lot of sites on the internet that allow you to download the movies for free without fear of the police busting down your door but these websites are few and far between. Your next alternative is to buy software or enroll in a site that has a stock of new movies already available.

A provider can also be involved in the movie itself and they've simply released it onto the net to watch how the public reacts to it or to build publicity for it. So availability isn't the problem, the trick is getting it on your computer where you have full access to it whenever you want without having to go through buffering or split files.

There are hundreds of sites out on the web today that offer full movies with good quality and sound and while some require a monthly fee, a lot do not and these are the ones that are skyrocketing in popularity. Places like Youtube, Veoh, and Megavideo are just a few of the sites that have become famous for streaming videos of the net.

The movies aren't blockbuster hits or anything but the selection is extensive and perfect for anyone who has a deep appreciation for good cinema rather than just a passing fancy to see the newest movie out on film. The next site that I'd recommend would have to be Veoh. It works much the same way as YouTube and realplayer, but the quality and speed in which the video can be accessed is faster and clearer.

There is some software like RealPlayer, a video player, that has an application that can download most videos found on the web. It's useful in that you can convert it the video file over to another type and also burn them on a CD after you've bought the updated version. If you don't like the idea of taking up so much space on your computer YouTube, Veoh, and Myspace Videos streams videos from off the web and if you have a fast connection you can watch them with just as much ease as if they were downloaded. - 18780
