A Sampling Of Interesting Motion Picture Story Lines To Look At

By Gabriel Bright

For years now, the video store was the way to get movies. You can now save a trip to the video store and download movies right off the internet. Let's look at what you might find to watch using a movie download site.

Lust for a Vampire: Carmilla, the seductress from The Vampire Lovers, preys on young students at an all girl school. Third-rate terror film is very weak. Cast includes. Ralph Bates, Yutte Stensgaard, Barbara Jefford, Michael Johnson, Suzanna Leigh, Mike Raven, and Christopher Neame (95 minutes, 1971)

The Truman Show: Truman Burbank starts to get a strange feeling. He can't quite explain it, but something just isn't right. It turns out that Truman is right. In fact everyone else in town is an actor, and every day is The Truman Show.

China Nine Liberty 37: This is a mystifying Western in which railroad tycoons spare a gentleman from the gallows in trade for killing another gunfighter. The gunfighter's girl falls for the killer and helps do his evil work. Title refers to the signpost giving distance to 2 close-by towns. Cast includes Warren Oates, Fabio Testi, Jenny Agutter, and Sam Peckinpah. (102 minutes, 1978)

Mrs. Henderson Presents: The widowed Dench plans to affirm her new found liberty by purchasing a London show, The Windmill, and striking on the notion of orchestrating nude magazine. With the approaching of WW2, the show becomes a refuge for cadets and battle-worn Londoners. Cast includes Judi Dench, Bob Hoskins, Can Youthful, Christopher Visitor, Kelly Reilly, Thelma Barlow, Anna Brewster, and Rosalind Halstead. (103 minutes, 2005)

King of Jazz: Million dollar musical revue, shot in 2-color Technicolor format, is filled with bigger-than-life production numbers and remarkable melodies. Highlights contain Walter Lantz's animation pattern, Joe Venuti's swing violin, youthful Bing Crosby with the Tempo Boys, and, obviously, Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" which in early Technicolor is more a rhapsody in turquoise. Cast includes Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra, John Boles, Jeanette Loff, The Tempo Boys Bing Crosby, Al Rinker, and Harry Barris. (93 minutes, 1930)

Mysterious Lady: An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, clueless that she's a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes, 1928)

Navy Seals: Navy Seals go into the Mid-East to rescue captured US pilots. During this successful rescue, the Seals observe that the enemy terrorist have Stinger missiles in their possession. With no time to destroy the missiles, they leave them behind and complete the rescue mission. We need to recover these weapons before terrorists have the chance to use them.

Bad Santa: Willie Stokes has an interesting gig. Every year he works as Santa Clause on Christmas Eve. When the shops close, Willie and his partner make a big score by breaking into the safe.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry: Larry and Chuck are top notch fire fighters and best friends. When Larry fails to change the beneficiaries on his life insurance policy after the unfortunate death of his wife, the only way he can make sure his children benefit if he dies is to remarry. There is no woman he can trust with his kids, so he comes up with the idea of marrying his best friend Chuck.

For file downloads use a phrase like "Movie DVD Video Rental". If that one doesn't work try another one. Make another attempt with "Downloadmovies". - 18780
