WiFi and a Whole Lot More with Archos MP3 Players
When it comes to portable media devices these days there is one real definite leader in when it comes to marketplace share and unit sales, and that is the Apple iPod. Of course, the device plays music, and with 80GB of storage space, I've been able to load my entire collection onto the 605 Wifi with plenty of room to spare. It is a really nice feature because it means that I don't have to wait around for conversion software in order to download my songs. Features like this make it a much more versatile and convenient player than many other brands.

Archos MP3 players have a superb 4.3-inch full-color touchscreen that can be activated with the touch of a finger or the included stylus, making navigation through the various menus a simple task. The brilliant quality of the monitor makes it perfect for watching TV shows, streaming YouTube videos, or even watching movies. It yields an amazingly sharp picture that is plainly visible in all kinds of lighting. Whenever I see somebody trying to watch a movie or something on their tiny iPod display I just have to shake my head and feels sorry for them. The Archos MP3 player is a bunch better choice than the smaller iPod so there's no reason to put yourself through the misery of that situation.
What I love most about Archos MP3 players is the way I can handle all of my contents without having to be tied to a computer. I can download my songs and movies and other videos on the go because it has a WiFi connection. Furthermore, the incorporated Opera web browser makes it effortless for me to surf the Internet, check my email, and play games wherever I am -- something that's not possible with most other devices out there. With those other brands, you're basically stuck with whatever content is on the player already, and can't perform an update until the next time you're sitting in front of your PC.
If you're honestly considering the purchase of a portable media player, stand out from the horde and make the investment into something that's a bunch better than the name brand iPod. I undeniably recommend giving the Gen 5 Archos MP3 player a spin. They are a lot more sophisticated scientifically and they have better prices than all of the rivalry.
