Second Opinion Film Commentary

By Rolf Bullock

If movies is something that interests you, then you can find them along with your other download methods. On Netflex, for instance, you can download movies here merely by signing up. The Internet has certainly ushered in a new age when it comes to how we view and how we acquire our films. It's undemanding and entertaining, and it's also from FREE to low-priced.

Find a good movie and download it directly to your computer so you can watch it whenever you would like!

High Crimes - Lawyer Claire Kubik has just been told that her husband is not who she thinks he is. Tom Kubik is in fact Ron Chapman, and he is on trial in the military justice system for the assassination of villagers in Latin America. Claire takes on the case but just what will she find out, as the facts are unraveled?

Sugar Town - Pleasurable variety of LA life characterizing a handful of characters whose lives dovetail - a musician wannabe who will do anything to get ahead, an uptight lone lady who allures the unsuitable men like a magnet, and a band made up of cleaned-up '80s rock megastars, to name a few. Made on a shoestring, although clever and well recognized; brilliant cast contains a variety of actual musicians. Cast includes Ally Sheedy, Rosanna Arquette, John Taylor, Jade Gordon, Michael Des Barres, Lucinda Jenney, and Martin Kemp. (92 minutes, 1999)

Hanky Panky - Blameless designer Wilder is chased by snoops, cops, etc. Predictable, hardly ludicrous comedy-thriller, with Radner miscast as the love interest. The motion picture was meant to be a follow-up to Stir Crazy, although Richard Pryor's part was revised for Gilda. You've seen it all before, and better. Cast includes Gene Wilder, Gilda Radner, Kathleen Quinlan, Richard Widmark, Robert Prosky, Josef Sommer, and Johnny Sekka. (88 minutes, 1982)

China Nine Liberty 37 - This is a perplexing Western in which railroad tycoons spare a man from gallows in trade for killing another gunfighter. The gunfighter's girlfriend falls for the assassin and helps do his evil work. Title refers to the signpost giving distance to 2 close-by towns. Cast includes Warren Oates, Fabio Testi, Jenny Agutter, and Sam Peckinpah. (102 minutes, 1978)

Live Free Or Die Hard - The U. S. is under attack. A criminal mind is attacking the system with modern secrets. It is now up to Detective John McClane and accomplished computer hacker Matt Farrell to find and stop whoever is doing the attacking.

Number One with a Bullet - Carradine and Williams do well in this fairly average action movie where we have aggressive investigators out to oust a drug kingpin. Cast includes Robert Carradine, Billy Dee Williams, Valerie Bertinelli, Peter Graves, Doris Roberts, and Bobby DiCicco. (101 minutes, 1987)

The Sea Hawk - Top of the line amalgamation with Flynn at his streaking best in venture on the high oceans. The movie has a enthusiastic balance of piracy, romance, and swordplay, handsomely shot, and orchestrated with exciting Erich Wolfgang Komgold score. Cast includes Errol Flynn, Brenda Marshall, Claude Pours, Donald Crisp, Flora Robson, Alan Hale, Henry Daniell, Una O'Connor, Gilbert Roland, and Edgar Buchanan. (127 minutes, 1940) - 18780
