A Guide To Danelectro Guitars
Founded by Nathan Daniel in 1947, Danelectro Guitar has been manufacturing musical instruments and accessories, but the company concentrates more on creating rock instruments like bass guitars and guitars, and also effects units and amplifiers.
Danelectro started making models of amplifiers and solid body electric guitars in 1954. Back in 1956, Danelectro created its first six-string bass guitar and was absorbed by Fender Guitars. It used the style for Fender VI. However, the six-string bass guitar of Danelectro did not really become popular.
Nowadays, Danelectro Guitar Company has been specializing in producing effect pedals. All their created pedals are powered by 9V of battery and can also be connected to an adapter. The pedals have eight principal runs, these are: Cool Cat effects, which consist of metal enclosures and true-bypass, Paisley effects, Wasabi effects which are made of modern metal enclosures, vintage effects, mini effects, FAB effects, which are the cheapest compare to all pedals, original effects and other assorted effects.
Danelectro has also created a case that carry up to five-effect pedals. It can be used by removing the top part of the case and the bottom part will become the pedal board.
The mini effects of Danelectro are acclaimed to have high quality tones. However, its plastic architecture makes it breakable.
Eric Clapton was seen to have used a Danelectro 59-DC. The popular singer, songwriter and guitarist Richard Thompson used a Danelectro U2 sometimes while he is recording. Bruce Springsteen, Frank Zappa, Kid Rock, Dave Matthews are other famous guitarist and musicians who used a Danelectro guitar on their performances. - 18780
