Rock n' Roll High School: This is a 1950s film gone insane. A young rock and roller marshals her associates to battle the repression of new principal Miss Togar. An irresistible, high-effort comedy set to a continuous soundtrack of Ramones music (and a few oldies). P.J. Soles is amazing as the group's number one fan, Riff Randell. Cast includes P. J. Soles, Vincent Minivan Patten, Clint Howard, Dey Youthful, the Ramones, Mary Woronov, Paul Bartel, and Alix Elias. (93 minutes, 1979)

Number One With a Bullet: Carradine and Williams do well in this alternatively normal action movie, set by "abnormal" investigators out to dethrone a medication kingpin. Cast includes Robert Carradine, Billy Dee Williams, Valerie Bertinelli, Peter Graves, Doris Roberts, and Bobby DiCicco. (101 minutes, 1987)

Night At The Museum: When Larry took the job as security guard and the National History Museum he had no idea what he was getting. Armed with a flashlight and an instruction book, he is on his own in the huge building. Amazingly, everything in the museum starts to come to life. From beasts to world leaders, everything is now alive. He has dreamed of being a hero all his life, his moment has now arrived.

Tet Paisan: Early Rossellini classic, largely improvised by a mainly nonprofessional cast. 6 vignettes portray life in Italy throughout WW2. The best has American nurse looking for her lover in rubble of Florence. Cast includes Cast includes Carmela Sazio, Gar Moore, Bill Tubbs, Harriet Off-white, Maria Michi, Robert minivan Loon, Dale Edmonds, Carla Pisacane, and Specks Johnson. (90 minutes, 1946)

Bugsy: Beatty gives the most bizarre behavior of his occupation as Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, the fabled crackpot gangster who helped develop Las Vegas. Long however well-informed story manages to avoid gangster stereotypes. Beatty and Bening set off kindles together just as they did in genuine life, and a hefty aiding cast fleshes out James Toback's knowledgeable script. Keitel, cast as Mickey Cohen, played Siegel in the Television film The Virigina Tale Tale. Cast includes Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Harvey Keitel, Ben Kingsley, Elliott Gould, Joe Mantegna, Bill Graham, and Debrah Farentino. (135 minutes, 1991)

The King and I: Phenomenal film adaptation of Rodgers and Harnmerstein Broadway musical, based on novel filmed in 1946 as Anna and the Baron of Siam (and redid as Anna and the Emperor). Kerr plays widowed English schoolteacher who voyages to Siam to instruct the Baron's numerous kids, and finds handling His Highness her best test. Brynner gives the acting job of a generation, and was rewarded with an Oscar reconstructing his Broadway role. Kerr is charming and her harmonizing voice was dubbed by Marni Nixon. Melodies contain "Hello, Youthful Lovers," "Getting to Know You," "Shall We Dance." Cast includes Deborah Kerr, Yul Brynner, Rita Moreno, Martin Benson, Terry Saunders, Rex Thompson, and Alan Mowbray. (133 minutes, 1956)

Dragonfly: An ER doctor, mourning for his lifeless spouse, acquires a succession of signals from her-containing messages from youthful subjects who've had near-death experiences. What do they mean? More drawn out than it needs to be, although a captivating and abnormal tale of one guy's metaphysical odyssey. Cast includes Kevin Costner, Kathy Bates, Joe Morton, Ron Rifkin, Linda Seek, Susanna Thompson, Jacob Vargas, Jay Thomas, and Matt Craven. (103 minutes, 2002)

The Mystery of Edwin Drood: A seemingly honorable English choirmaster (Pours) is essentially accountable for a terrible murder. Evidently the genuine-life Adrian Cronauer, on whom tale was based, wasn't almost as ludicrous or shocking as Williams. The Negotiator: Expert negotiator Danny Roman has been set up. He is being framed for killing his partner in the department. Feeling he has no other choice, he takes some very specific hostages, and requests a very specific negotiator. The clock is ticking and Danny must act fast in order to prove his innocence.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium: A 243-year-old proprietor of a supernatural toy store disposes to leave his lifelong business and gives it to his number-one salesperson. While economical complications are exposed, a disaster follows a, gloomy and weird objects start to occur to the toys till a youthful client takes issues into his own hands. Innocuous clan fare with entertaining, old-styled toy creations can appeal mostly to the under-eight set, however the sugar-coated structure might find grownups desiring to quick-forward. Misery: Famed writer Paul Sheldon is driving back from his Colorado hideaway after finishing his latest book. He is in a terrible crash, but is rescued by a nurse. She turns out to be his number one fan. What appears to be a Godsend will turn into his worse nightmare.

Crowe comes to the help of anxious spouse Ryan, while her idealistic architect spouse is abducted by a cutthroat band of rebels turned drug lords. Caruso nearly robs the film as the negotiator. Cast includes Meg Ryan, Russell Crowe, David Morse, Pamela Reed, David Caruso, Anthony Heald, Stanley Anderson, and Gottfried John. (136 minutes, 2000)

Muse Concert: Paper-slim although cute romantic comedy in reference to a cleaned-up '80s pop megastar (Permit) who's shown with a gigantic crack-getting to perform a primordial melody with a modern-day music megastar (Bennett) if he might only find a lyricist with whom he could work with. She appears in the doubtful individual of a ditzy lady who's assumed to take care of the plants in his N.Y.C. condo. Permit is at his best, throwing off a constant flow of ludicrous lines. Completely unsympathetic, angst-filled characters are set to even better disadvantage by a jumpy camcorder and abrasive lighting. Cast includes Thomas Jane, Keanu Reeves, Adrien Brody, John Doe, Claire Forlani, Jim Haynie, Marg Helgenberger, and Lucinda Jenney. (93 minutes, 1997)

The Island Of Dr. Moreau: On a remote island Dr. Moreau and his assistant Montgomery are working on the genetic improvement of man. They are trying to develop a genetically improved version of man. His experiment has gone bad, and now viscous, beast like people freely roam the island. When Edward Douglas is marooned on the island things start spinning out of control. Can Douglas get off the island? Or will he become part of Dr. Moreau's next experiment?
