How To Download iPod Touch Games

By Davion Wong

As an iPod Touch user you must be excited to try out the different features of your hi-tech gadget. With it you can listen to music, watch videos and movies, and play games, to name a few. You may want to know then how and where you can download iPod Touch games, music and videos with zero investment.

You must have been told by your iPod Touch seller that you can download all these from Apple's store, iTunes. However, you may want to explore other sites on the web, too. For all you know, there are those that can offer great downloading services, and it wouldn't cost you anything to shop around.

As you will eventually discover, there are sites that claim to offer free downloading services; there are others, too, where you can download games for iPod for free after paying a one-time membership fee. There are also sites where no registration or membership is required, but you get to pay a bigger amount every time you make a download.

Now what can you expect from free sites? While free sites do not require any investment at all, you cannot expect to get the best downloading experience from free sites. The graphics and sounds are not of superior quality, for one thing, and it can take hours before a single download is completed.

Free sites usually do not have a lot of games available for download, unlike paid sites where the choices are unlimited; and the worst thing is that these sites have resident viruses and spyware applications that can damage your computer the moment you download a file. So if you want to play games on your iPod Touch, better go for paid sites, instead, where you can have a much better experience.

Paid sites, on the other hand, have superior quality graphics and sounds. They also boast of fast downloading speed, and the fact that they are virus-free. Downloading from paid sites can give you the confidence that you are not putting your system at risk.

A one time membership fee is usually required so you can access one paid site without limits. This seems to be the most practical choice, indeed, especially if you are so addicted to your iPod Touch that you want it stocked with the latest games, movies, and videos. There is also the pay-per-download plan that you may want to consider. However, bear in mind that if you are going to make plenty of downloads, this plan is going to cost you a lot in the long run.

A Variety Of Short Movie Overviews

By Jared Mccarthy

Check out some movie reviews below. To find a movie download site you need to do the right search. You can try to search a term like "Unlimited Mp3 Downloads", if you want some more, use "DVD Movies Online" and "Movie Downloading Site".

Jack London: Hokey, episodic "biography" of famed author invests too much time maligning Japanese which was assumed to give topical slope to this period drama in 1943 Cast includes Michael O'Shea, Susan Hayward, Osa Massen, Harry Davenport, Frank Craven, and Virginia Mayo. (94 minutes, 1943)

Day Watch: Weak, perplexing, and endless continuation to Night Watch in which the powers of the "light" and the "dark" are at it once more. After being framed, Anton (Khabensky) tries to spare himself and his child from wicked powers in post-apocalyptic Russia. Cast includes Konstantin Khabensky, Mariya poroshina, Vladimir Menshov, Galina Tyunina, and Viktor Verzhbitsky. (132 minutes, 2006)

All about Eve: Brilliantly advanced (and skeptical) look at life in and around the show, with a mecca script by director Mankiewicz (based on the tale "The Knowledge of Eve" by Mary Orr). Davis is positively on point as an aging megastar that takes in a loving fan (Baxter) and eventually finds that the youthful lady is taking over her life. Cast includes Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, George Sanders, Celeste Holm, Gary Merrill, Thelma Ritter, Marilyn Monroe, Hugh Marlowe, and Gregory Ratoff. (138 minutes, 1950)

Patty Hearst: A dramatization of the newspaper heiress's abduction and succeeding brainwashing by the Symbionese Liberation Army. The movie never recovers from a painful first half hour that tries to express, from Hearst's point of view, the effects of this coordinated mental suffering she is put through. Cast includes Natasha Richardson, William Forsythe, Ving Rhames, Dana Delany, Frances Fisher, Jodi Long, and Olivia Barash. (108 minutes, 1988)

Dragonfly: An ER doctor, mourning for his lifeless spouse, acquires a succession of signals from her-containing messages from youthful subjects who've had near-death experiences. What do they mean? More drawn out than it needs to be, although a captivating and abnormal tale of one guy's metaphysical odyssey. Cast includes Kevin Costner, Kathy Bates, Joe Morton, Ron Rifkin, Linda Seek, Susanna Thompson, Jacob Vargas, Jay Thomas, and Matt Craven. (103 minutes, 2002)

Lust for Life: This is a bright adaptation of Irving Rock's biography of painter Van Gogh, vividly depicting his anguished life. Quinn captured a well-warranted 'Oscar for his performance as painter-Guy Gauguin, in this attractive color production. Cast includes Kirk Douglas, Anthony Quinn, James Donald, Pamela Brown, Everett Sloane, Niall MacGinnis, Noel Purcell, Henry Daniell, Jill Bennett, Lionel Jeffries, and Eric Pohlmann. (122 minutes, 1956)

Hoop Dreams: Magnificent documentary follows 2 Chicago central-city kids (Arthur Agee and William Bars), who have fantasies of basketball stardom, over 4 years' time. This quaint and immersing film plays like drama, not documentary, with the exception of that it takes spontaneous twists and turns no author might create. The film presents a scorching commentary on our school system, the indomitable power of the family, and the uncertainty of life. (109 minutes, 1994)

Lillian Russell: This is a strained bio of the early 2Oth-century megastar. Lavish surroundings and weak plot line decrease Faye's work. Arnold replicates his Diamond Jim Brady role with zest. Cast includes Alice Faye, Don Ameche, Henry Fonda, Edward Arnold, Warren William, Leo Carrillo, and Nigel Bruce. (127 minutes, 1940)

The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes: The first of Disney's duplicate comedies with youthful Russell as the college whiz inserted with a pc-mind, which winds up posing a threat to local gangster Romero. Cast includes Kurt Russell, Cesar Romero, Joe Flynn, William Schallert, Alan Hewitt, and Richard Bakalyan. (91 minutes, 1970)

These movies and thousands of others can be downloaded from the internet. To learn more about movie download sites search "Unlimited Movie Rentals" or "Illegal Movie Download Sites". If these don't work out, punch in "Home Movie Rental", and see if that works. - 18780

The Five Faces of Metallica

By Matallica Matt

My 5 different songs here are the songs that I believe opened Metallica up to a wider, more diverse audience. Metallica has had so many fans, from Germany to Canada, and these people probably discovered Metallica through one of these songs:

5 "Dyers Eve" - And Justice for All...

This is a lightning quick song that played to the thrash and speed metal fans. This song is so fast and intricate, Metallica has a hard time trying to play it now, like they did those 20 years ago. Though not often played live, it has been played a few times on select tours. This song, known for its speed, intense solos, and powerful chords, opened Metallica's first fans (heavy metal, thrash metal, and speed metal fans) up to Metallica's ability.

4 Hero of the Day - Load

One of Metallica's first slower paced songs. Though it picks up tempo in the middle, it was rejected at first by Metallica's fan-base for being too slow and rockish. The Load album was the first of Metallicas alternative rock experiment and many fans did not approve. However, many alternative rock fans found this song to be very good and it is now known as one of Metallica's most famous songs.

3 Until it Sleeps - Load

A new voice took the reins in the Load album, the secular voice. The song Until it Sleeps was written to tackle some of the popular religious beliefs that James was struggling with. James mother had just died after refusing life-saving medication because she thought that God would save her. James comments on the illogical and showcases the popular, conflicting arguments between science and religion. This song helped to get Metallica noticed by the atheistic community and the intellectuals who found the song to be an enriching caricature on the debate they were dealing with.

2 No Leaf Clover - S & M symphony

Through the years leading up to Metallica's S & M performance with the San Fransisco Orchestra, James was fooling around, playing with a few new riffs he hadn't fit into a song yet. When the album S & M began recording and Metallica was accompanied by an entire orchestra, James new guitar riffs found a home in No Leaf Clover. This song was created for the orchestra album and show. It helped to showcase the members of Metallica as not only metal headbangers, but as intelligent performers who knew how to create exceptional songs.

1 "Master of Puppets" - Master of Puppets

This song has yet to be beaten. The song lasts for longer than eight minutes and was the main tool that made Metallica so popular. No one can argue that this song didn't completely change metal or Metallica. The middle section, with it's slow, hypnotic power, was beautiful. Unsurprisingly, this song topped the charts and gave Metallica the largest fan base of any metal group. - 18780
