Will You Replace Your iPod Earphones For Better Ones?

By Erica Drache

If you have ever tried to use your iPod for an extended period of use, you probably know that the earphones that come with it start to hurt. As good and as popular as the iPod is, the earphones that are packaged with it are not that great in quality. It is too bad that they dont make the effort to include earphones that will give you better comfort and better sound.

This leaves few options for people other than to set out in search of earphones that will do a better job. Bose is one of the most respected companies that makes all sorts of audio equipment and one of their top sellers are noise canceling headphones. They do make earphones as well though and, as can be expected, they are quite high priced retailing at about $100.

For that expensive price, are the Bose earphones one of the best on the market? Are they worth the extra money and should you consider buying a pair. Some people have trouble losing their headphones on planes and other such places and if you are someone like that, paying $100 for earphones might not be such a good idea. You can still get great earphones that are comfortable for a much cheaper price than you will pay for the Bose models.

You can pay a lot of money for earphones and if you want you can even spend more on them than on your mp3 player itself. It is quite incredible how much some of the higher end earphones cost and it makes one wonder who actually buys them?

There is little doubt the prepackaged earphones that are included with most brands of Mp3 players are not the best quality. This leaves many of us with no other option than to go out and find better earphones that will do a superior job. This search often leads to Bose and then the ensuing dilemma of whether we want to pay that much for their earphones. One thing is for sure, whether you decide to pay a lot or a little for another pair of earphones, you need to find something that will do a better job than the ones provided. - 18780
