Benefits Of Downloading Mp3 Music Online

By Susan Reynolds

The many benefits that come with downloading MP3 music files from the internet are too numerous to list. There are some popular benefits that are easily mentioned, such as the ease of finding the music you want. If you walk in to a music store it may be tough finding that song you heard on the radio, especially if you do not know who sings it or what it is titled. On the internet you are able to search by artist name, band name, title of the song, and even a partial lyric search. Once you find music you believe may be the song you can preview the file to be sure it is what you are looking for. This is just one reason why people enjoy downloading MP3 music files from the internet, there are many more.

Sometimes even though we love an artist or band we may not enjoy all the music they have offered on their CD. We end up paying full price for a CD that only contains one or two songs we will actually listen to or that we like. By downloading MP3 music online you are able to choose what songs you want and never have to pay for the ones you do not. You can find places that will offer the song for purchase by itself and some places that you can get the song for free.

By downloading MP3 music files you are able to create a customized music library that only contains your favorite music and that can be transferred to other devices or stored on your computer for listening to the songs whenever you want.

After you have downloaded the MP3 music file you can keep it stored on your computer, burn it to CD or transfer it to another device such as a phone or iPod. The majority of the programs already installed on your computer for listening to music are equipped with the ability to assist you in transferring your MP3 music files easily to other devices. With the simple selection of the chosen songs you can either choose to burn a CD or send them to your iPod or phone. The music libraries are organized by song title, file name, or artist name to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for.

The MP3 music files are triple layered with encoding that allows for the smaller size without losing any of the high quality CD sound. The fact that the MP3 files are small enough to make transfer and storage easy many people store more than 1000 MP3 song files on their iPods at any given time. If you want to burn a CD to listen to in your car or on your personal stereo system you can place 16 to 22 of your favorite MP3 files on any one CD, this makes it easy to create customized CDs that contain all your favorite music by various artists and bands. The MP3 files are also small enough that your phone can easily store them and use for ring tones or just to listen to. - 18780

Subscribe To An Online Guitar Course At Your PERIL... UNLESS You've Already Read This FREE Report The Pro's Don't want You To See!"

By Mike Jones

Read the article below to find out exactly what to look for when choosing a guitar tutoring course and how to avoid the pitfalls most beginners make when selecting which course to go for. Looking for a guitar course to teach you how to play the guitar can be an absolute mine field for the beginner guitar student!

The internet has now become the perfect medium for sourcing all sorts of useful and not so useful information and as such more and more companies and individuals are listing their products. Here lies the problem. How do you choose between the many thousands of courses and guitar lessons that are becoming available to the beginner guitar player. You basically have two choices to make:

An online guitar course or an offline one?

Years ago people only had one option and that was to book a lesson with a guitar tutor and turn up at a predetermined time to have the guitar lessons. Or on the odd occasion the guitar tutor would come to your home. In this day and age it's all changed, we have many more options open to us. With more choices comes more chances to make costly mistakes, hence why you should try to get it right first time.

Before making your decision on which type of course to go for I would like to go through the advantages and disadvantages of both online and offline courses as it will hopefully help you in your final decision. We'll start with online guitar lessons.

Online Guitar Lessons or Courses

What do we mean by an online guitar course? An online guitar course are a series of guitar lessons that are conducted purely over the internet where you either download the guitar lessons or view them as they are streaming. The problem with these type of courses is that the quality tends not to be as good as hard copy (DVD) type courses and if you do not have a super fast internet connection then they can take light years to download if you want real good, clear quality.

You will also find that is it quite hard to build up an archive of material that you can refer back to over and over again. With any guitar course you choose to go with, one of the major considerations is that you must be able to archive the material easily and be able to put your hands on a particular part of the course instantly should you wish to refer back to it at a later date. Also a good tip is to look for a REAL address. and telephone number, DO NOT go for any course that only gives you a PO Box as an address. A real address helps to confirm the company is legitimate and responsible

Offline Guitar Lessons or Courses

What are offline guitar courses?

Offline guitar lessons or guitar courses are usually conducted by a live tutor. The tutor may come to your home but most conduct their lessons from either their place of work or home charging a fee for their services. Here lies two problems. The first being GOOD guitar tutors are like trying to find a needle in a haystack, they are few and far between. You can end up changing tutors every month or so which does you no good whatsoever. Finding the right tutor who suits you in your area can be a real nightmare and sometimes depending where you live almost impossible.

Another problem with live guitar tutors in my opinion is that most will give you only just enough information to keep you coming back and charge you as much as they can possibly get away with. Not the best scenario.

Here are some disadvantages of going for regular guitar lessons.

* The problem with either traveling for a guitar lesson or having a tutor come to your home is you have to have the lesson at a predetermined time. This will probably screw up your day and everything else has to work around it.

* Your tutor may not necessarily be into the type of music you love to play which means that you'll not enjoy your lessons as much as you could, which in turn means that your learning will not progress as quickly as it should.

* When learning to play an instrument you will come across something that you are not too sure about and need to ask a question or find the solution. With regular guitar lessons you will need to wait until your next lesson in order to get your questions answered. Ideally you want your answers NOW so you can get on with your progression and move to the next stage...

* Most people when sitting in front of a tutor and playing back what they've learned in the week will feel a little if not quite a bit intimidated or nervous. They will feel under pressure to get it just right in front of their tutor. What happens in most scenarios is the student will make mistakes when at home they have played the piece very well. The best scenario would be to repeat back the lesson in their own home with no pressure in familiar surroundings...

So Where Does That Leave YOU?

Do not fear! There is an alternative to both these methods yet encompasses both.

The alternative is to have guitar lessons conducted through a hard copy DVD course that is delivered by conventional post to your door. In my opinion this far out weighs the other two methods as it combines the ease of obtaining the course through the internet, being able to shop around and you will be able to follow step by step instructions shown in Hi Definition which you can refer back to over and over again.

So if this is my recommendation, which course do you choose???

Before choosing a course of lessons they MUST meet the following criteria:

* A FAST Structured Progression that is VERY EASY to follow and understand.

* A course of lessons created by someone who has a vast experience in the music industry, is a professional (gets paid for playing the guitar and hasnt got a job on the side), knows what he is doing and is not some wizz kid who has learned the guitar, played for about 3-4 years and trying to cash in and make a fast buck

* A course you can study and take part in, in a nice relaxed environment with no pressure put upon you, helping you to progress at lightning pace because you are in a cool, relaxed frame of mind.

* A course of lessons that you know you CAN afford and you know will be great value for money ensuring you'll not get ripped off.

* A Solid, Cast Iron, No Questions Asked, FULL Money Back Guarantee. Just ask your guitar tutor for your money back once he has given you your lesson! It's not repeatable what he'll say!!!

* A course of lessons that doesn't beat around the bush and gives you what you are looking for straight out of the tin bringing you on as fast as possible...

* Lessons that you can refer back to over and over again that will inspire and motivate you with audio, video, illustrations and downloadable teaching aids

* All The Fast Track Short Cuts That The Professionals DON'T Want You to Know.

If you are in the process of looking for a guitar course or lessons my advice would be to take your time and do your research. There are some very, very good courses out there but be warned there are also some very bad one's. Use this guide to help you to choose a course that you think will best suit your needs.

If there is another piece of advice I can give you it would be this:

Scour the internet and choose a course that you think will best suit your needs using the guidelines I have listed here. Make sure you're happy by sticking with the first two or three lessons then once happy stick with the course. DO NOT be tempted to change tutor or course. You will eventually get tuned into the tutors way of teaching and putting the course across speeding up your learning progression.

This article has hopefully set out some guidelines for you to follow when choosing a guitar course or set of lessons for the first time. Use them wisely. I will be posting some articles in the near future on guitar lessons using speed learning techniques taking the beginner through to accomplished player in the shortest possible time. - 18780

Best 7 Albums By The Flaming Lips

By Jason V. Dobbins

The Flaming Lips 12th album, Embryonic, is set to come out sometime this year. With that in mind, here's a look back at the best seven Lips albums to date. They are ordered by time not by greatness!

In a Priest Driven Ambulance (1990) - For some noise rock lovers this is actually The Flaming Lips best album. I'm not really a noise rock lover myself, so I'm not in that category. But I do enjoy this album. At first I found it a bit off putting (I first fell in love with The Soft Bulletin) but has grown on me.

Hit to Death in the Future Head (1992) - I personally prefer this one over Priest Driven Ambulance. It's a crazy album with a lot of really experimental songs.

Transmission from the Satellite Heart (1993) - This is probably the Lips most overrated album because it has their most overrated song, "She Don't Use Jelly," on it. It's still a great album though because a lot of the other songs are very good.

Clouds Taste Metallic (1995) - I think this is the album that works as sort of the encapsulation of the best of the previous three albums. If you are wanting to start digging into the Lips back catalog after first being introduced to the band with their more recent work, this is probably the album to start with.

Zaireeka (1997) - You can only listen to Zaireeka as intended by playing all four CDs on four different CD players simultaneously. But there are a lot of mix-down versions of the album "out there" that gives some approximation of the experience.

The Soft Bulletin (1999) - The most perfect Lips album to date in my opinion. I think it's easily among the greatest albums of the 1990s. A modern day classic that should be heard by anyone who takes "pop music" seriously.

Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (2002) - When this came out it was an entirely new direction for the band and it still stands apart from the rest of their best albums. It's great, but you shouldn't let it be the only album by The Flaming Lips that you really check out. - 18780
